That is correct. Mr. B. put a date limitation on this poll for some reason.
You can contact him on the reason why. You can set a date on any poll you create to expire or not, in these forums.

2.  Has there not been a newsletter since Nov. 09?

I have not received a newsletter since November. As soon as I receive a new newsletter I will post it in PDF format. There is a section on the main website to sign up for a newsletter in your email.

They are located above the text area, where you type.

4.  How about a spell check?

I never thought to install one since most browsers now have spell check as an add on in Firefox, Mac users Safari,  Snow Leopard, or featured on most toolbars in Internet Explorer.
Since most of the new browsers now have this tool, forum spell checkers are becoming a thing of the past, that is why I neglected to intall such a feature.
I have seen less spell check on most message boards as well as blogs anymore.
However, I can make a spell checker or install an smf version.
Yes, I will consider adding a spell check in the near future.
